Me, little man

A Daghestani refugee, a professional wrestler, he settled in Germany and his life is caught between his homeland’s traditions and the values of his new country. The strict rules and roles division of his family strongly influence his daily life and decisions; these have also affected my relation with them and my experience as a female photographer in their context. Untill this topic became part of my story, and symbol of his daily struggle of balancing two worlds.
