PRESS – We love football (even in the outskirts of Europe)

I was in Moldova for the final final game of the championship, the Golden Game, the play-off between the two firsts of the rank. FC Sheriff Tiraspol won at the penalties after a long suffered game against FC Dacia Chisinau.

MOLDOVA – New protest in Chisinau

I am not usually standing on hot grounds, and mostly like to spend my Sundays around football pitches. Though last Sunday I decided to follow with my camera the protest taking place in Chisinau, and there had my first encounter with teargas….a pretty close one, according to my picture!

Protesters left the main square and move in order to visit the house and headquarter of the much criticised oligarch Plahotniuc. Chiril Mo?pan from the party Dignity and Truth trying to calm down the situation excalating between police and protesters. Policemen are blocking the access to the street where the house of the oligarch is located and started to use tear-gas when protesters engaged to try break the cordon
