I recently wrote an article on the Moldovan football for the Italian Online Magazine “Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso”. Why should you care? Because finally it is an alternative portrait of a country known for the usual poverty, emigration and corruption issues, though the lens of the football landscape.

Mill town of Modena Ovest
I worked on the reportage “Il Regno”, about the first Italian Mill Town (villaggio artigiano) Modena Ovest in July 2015.
It was commissioned for the book which will be issued this March 2016 “Città e Architetture industriali. Il Novecento a Modena” (Panini Publishing).
The publication is the second of a series about local urban history: a project of “Ufficio Ricerche e Documentazione sulla storia urbana del
Comune di Modena, and is curated by the Townhall with the Fondation Cassa di Risparmio di Modena.
Papers and architecture plans will be accompanied by a special part with reportages commissione to 10 young photographer of the region.
The booklet with photos is introduced by William Guerrieri, director of the Linea di Confine center, photographer and critique,
and Piero Orlandi, architect, expert of contemporary architecture photography.

SLIDELUCK Bologna in Spazio Labo’.

Renata Ferri (chief picture editor of Io Donna and Amica) will be the curator and the show’s theme will be ‘Close to me‘
SLIDELUCK Bologna was also part of a new photography festival called Transizioni, Photography In Movement, focusing also on multimedia.
Program:
7pm: Opening and buffet
9pm: Talk with Marco Casino, winner of the World Press Photo Multimedia 2014
21.30pm: Presentation of the book “Hungry still” by Mariateresa Salvati (Director of Slideluck Europa and Director of Slideluck London)
10pm: Renata Ferri will introduce the slideshow she curated. Start of the show.
